it has been three years since the events of the last stand occured, and the x-men are still being kept on their toes. with the loss of jean grey, they were at a loss for what to do for much time, until a certain professor x appeared in his study one day. he claimed to owe a great deal to the shi'ar empress lelandra, who apparently helped him to regain his original physical body. not only did the professor return, but a much missed scott summers made a reappearance, though has since been terribly depressed without jean to keep him in check
however, even with these miraculous returns, there has been upheaval among the homo sapiens, and homo superiors. the war between the two races has yet to cease and mutants are still being persecuted wherever they go. weapon x is again at the height of their game, and having been employed by the government, are once again hunting down 'muties' left right and center - they now have their own army of controlled mutants to help in their endeavor. very dangerous mutants at that
in their search for strong, yet controllable mutants to use as living weapons, a small unit of weapon x agents accidentally awakened an ancient mutant by the name of apocolypse. they do not yet realise just how dangerous they have made the world, for both mutants and human alike, and have simply taken the powerful sentinent into the weapon x facility, where they have cryogenically frozen him. they have no idea that this method has no hope of holding apocolypse for very long
with the ever growing threats, can the x-men finally get the peace they have so desired? will they win the war, and the struggle for freedom, or will man kind never accept them?

•••THE STREETS new york is a huge city,and there are many streets; some lined with houses, some with shops. a lot of people find themselves strolling alone simply for something to do
•••THE BACK ALLEYS new york is not a very safe place, especially at night. a lot of drug dealers, and the homeless come to the alleys to do their shifty work ... and also where a lot of mutants tend to hide
•••CITY CENTRE the city centre of new york is a busy and rather dangerous place. a lot of stray mutants often find themselves seeking refuge here among the crowds. there are a lot of places to explore, such as the mall which is lined with shops
•••CENTRAL PARK central park is a rather beautiful and amazing place to be. the 'park' is much larger than one might expect and quite a few activities can take place here
•••BAYVILLE HIGH a school quite near to the x-Mmansion. only a few of xavier's students attend this school, but that is their choice. they must be careful not to let their powers get out of control, however, or else face the consequences
•••SEWERS most people would never venture in here unless they absolutely had to. yet deep within lies a secret base ... home to the morlocks - a group of mutants who set themselves apart from the rest, afraid they will be shunned for their 'different' looks
•••ATTIC the attic is used primarily for storage but it is also where ororo munroe lives and keeps her plants. There is a large games room, which also serves as a recreational unit [Ororo's Roost][Games Room]
•••THE GROUNDS the land on which the x-mansion is built - there are many gardens growing up around the area and a lot of places to explore, including a woodland area and a nearby lake
•••GROUND FLOOR the first floor of the brotherhood's Hideout is pretty much the same as any normal house, and though definately not as large as the x mansion, it is still a nice size [Living Room][Kitchen]
•••FIRST FLOOR this is where all the bedrooms and the bathrooms are located and just like the rest of the house, it's not exactly the easiest place to manouvere around [Bedrooms][Bathroom]
•••WEAPON X FACILITY built some place in canada, the weapon x facility holds many bad memories for a few select mutants. the scientists here dedicate their lives to creating the deadliest weapon ... a living weapon
•••ASTEROID M magneto, having regained his mutant abilities, has finally built the famous asteroid m, where he hopes to recruit many mutants into his cause
